     Microblading - permanent makeup

AT OUR INSTITUT LOCATED IN MONTREAL WE OFFER DIFFERENT BROWS TECHNIQUE THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE FROM WE HAVE MICROBLADING, SHADING, COMBO BROWS AND NANO BROWS

What is Microblading?

The Microblading treatment is considered semi-permanent makeup as it only goes in the superficial layer of the skin with a manual device (micro blade). No machine is used during processing, the hair strokes are drawn by hand only. Microblading  provides a very soft natural healed result.

What is Shading?

The semi-permanent SHADING is a technique that allows you to have a defined eyebrow without the stroke by stroke appearance but rather with powdered effect. The shading will give you a very natural and defined effect. It will fill completely your eyebrow given it a beautiful powdered appearance .

What is Nano Needle?

The Nano Needle technique is similar to Microblading (hair strokes). The pigment retention last longer and the colour is brighter then manual technique (microblading). Nano needle is performed with a machine with a thin single point needle that reaches the basal layer of the skin.

1- OUR BROWS SERVICES ARE SEMI PERMAMENT TATTOO.

For those of you are wondering what is microblading, it’s a semi permanent tattoo.

The certified technician will use a  micro blade to cut lines into the upper dermis of your skin so the ink can permeate. Unlike a permanent tattoo microblading doesn’t go as deep into the skin. Giving you a more natural and authentic hair line.

2- THE BROWS TAKES 3 TO 6 WEEKS TO HEAL.

After your procedure. Your first two weeks will be essential in the healing process, but for the entire tattoo to heal it can take up to 6 weeks total.  Make sure to keep the area clean, free of any kind of makeup and no exercising for the first 10 days.

3- GET READY FOR AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER.

New haircolors can have us questioning ourselves (and our looks) but changing your eyebrows gets you questioning  e v e r y t h i n g. (For those of you who don’t think eyebrows affect that much… let’s just remember these horrifying pictures.)

A quick cheat sheet for your emotions:

Day 1 – What the hell did I just do…
Day 2 – OMYGOD I LOVE THEM
Day 3 – Why did she make them so dark?
Day 4 to 5 – Ok, these are perfect and beautiful.
Day 6 to 8 – The Crusty brow stage. You will ask your loved one if they look weird.  They will say, “no.”  They are lying.
Day 9 to 10 – The eyebrow scabs are now flaking off non-uniformly.
Day 11 to 14–  You will be convinced that the ink didn’t take without you now it's coming back.
Day 14+ – You will love your brows and end up trying to convince your friends that the roller coaster is worth it.

I do not promise that your friends will not block you on Snapchat after you share all your days with them… but I will promise you will love your brows!  Even through the roller coaster of emotions

4-  LEAVE THE SCABS ALONE.

Because the technician is cutting into your skin with the pigment your skin will scab before it heals.  It’s imperative to not pick or scratch at the scabs, as this can cause the pigment to not take.  Of course, picking can also leave scars!

5- THE MAGIC HAPPEN AT THE FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT.

Your first appointment is sort of where you lay the ground work for the shape of your brows.  And once they are fully healed (somewhere between 6 to 8 weeks) you will go back in for a follow up.

At the follow-up this where the magic happens.  Your technician will be able to tell how your skin healed, adjust the strokes and you should speak up if there are any spots you would like to have a bit more added.

6- YOUR END RESULT MAY VARY.

Everyone’s skin is different so everyone’s result will vary!  Mature, young, oily, dry – it will all affect how long your ink lasts.

If you are really worried about your skin, come talk to a technician first.  Our experts can give you the most honest answers and advice!

7- What type of person can receive the Microblading service?

All persons except:

-Pregnant women as well as those who are breastfeeding.

-People who have allergies to inks, pigments, and hair dyes.

8. What should I do before the procedure?

Before the procedure it is not recommended to consume alcohol the day before the appointment. In addition, it is also not recommended to take coagulants such as tylenols. * The advils are allowed.

9. What to do after pigmentation?

The ointment:

Always have ointment on the area worked for a period of 7 days. Immediately after the procedure, apply the suggested balm or ointment to the area being worked whenever it is needed. It is important to never allow your eyebrows to become dry.

Scabs:

Scabs will appear 24 hours after your appointment. This indicates the beginning of the natural healing process. When scabs appear, the pigment may appear much darker until they leave. Once the scales have fallen, the color will be much paler than when you had it. Beware, scabs will not all fall at the same time. You will then have the impression that there will be no more pigment (effect of holes). Removing or scraping crusts may result in permanent loss of pigment. Abstain from touching the pigmented area at all times except when applying the balm or ointment.

Tingling sensation:

The tingling sensation can make you want to scratch yourself. Under no circumstances should you touch or scratch the pigmented area, as this may cause loss of pigment.

Tug of war:

You may feel tense. This is normal, the region is in regeneration mode.

Wash the face :

When washing your face, do not use soap or cream on the pigmented area for a period of one week. Before showering or bathing, always apply a thick layer of ointment. Contact with water should also be avoided for a period of at least 7 days or until the pigmented area is completely cured.

To avoid for 7 days:

Tanning, facial, excessive perspiration (physical training) and water (on the pigmented area) should be avoided for 7 days.

To avoid at all times:

Under no circumstances should the eyebrows be exfoliated. Sunscreen should always be applied to the pigmented area (SPF 60 recommended).

10. What is the difference between ink and pigment?

Once the ink is implanted in the skin, this will remain there for life. Only professional tattoo removal treatments can raise the ink.

The pigment we use is sterile mineral pigments that end up with the times.

* Depending on the depth of the skin, the PH of the skin of the client and the exposure to suns, the pigments can remain between 1 and 10 years

11. What is the life of Microblading?

12. What is the cost of Microblading?

The price for Microblading is $ 350 the touch up after a month cost 50$.
